How a Mobile App Can Help Your Personal Brand: Creating Your Brand Fri, 21 Mar 2014 04:04:33 +0000 In today’s edition of “How a Mobile App Can Help Your Personal Brand” we’re going to discuss Creating Your Brand.

The first part of your personal branding should be creating your brand. In order to start networking, you need to make sure your brand has been created. This means having a Facebook, Twitter, Google +, website, business cards, resumes, cover letters, etc. The list can go on and on, but it all helps create and reinforce your personal brand. This is where a mobile application can help you create your personal brand. Nowadays no one has the time to want to find all your social media sites, email you for a resume, and check out your website. Everyone is pressed for time and is looking to save every second possible. A mobile app can help you create your brand, by establishing a lasting first impression.

You can easily create a mobile app with our platform that can have all of these necessities at your audience’s fingertips. Instead of exchanging cards with all your social media links. Exchange a card that has the name of your mobile app. Your desired connection can download your personal brand’s mobile app and have access to your Facebook, Twitter, Google +, resume, cover letter, website, and more within seconds. No need to type it all in at home or worry if the person will ever get to your sites or even contact you. Having a card that only has a mobile app on it is a very innovative way of marketing and branding your personal brand. It shows that you can think outside of the box and that your personal brand is more valuable than your competition. Once they get to the app you can even have a direct link for them to call, message, or email you directly from the app once they’re fascinated by this first impression. Don’t let another connection get away, make sure they’re aware of who you are. Make sure you convert your next lead into a success for your personal brand!

Virtual Reality Mobile Apps Fri, 21 Mar 2014 03:29:10 +0000 Virtual Reality

This past week at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Sony revealed their plans for their upcoming virtual reality system.

Sony announced the coming of Project Morpheus, which is a total virtual reality immersed headset for the Playstation 4. They are set to compete with Oculus Rift, which is another Virtual Reality system backed by Kickstarter fans who donated 2.4 million dollars to the cause. This definitely means there is going to be some huge changes in technology coming with the future of virtual reality. There is lots of potential with the virtual reality technology that has yet to be seen. This lead us to the question… Is there a market for Virtual Reality Mobile Apps?

You already know the answer… Yes! Absolutely there is a market for virtual reality mobile apps.

The potential for virtual reality mobile apps is huge. Imagine taking your virtual reality device on the go and the endless possibilities. One could easily travel to the Bahamas, go backpacking in Europe, or even sailing in Asia with a Virtual Reality app. What if we could go to the grocery store with a virtual reality mobile app, then pick our groceries, and have them delivered via drone to our front doorstep. Or even the chance to visit an Alien planet and interact with new forms of life. The possibilities are endless! The main point we wanted to get across is that Virtual Reality is coming, and the possibility for mobile apps in a Virtual Reality setting are definitely possible. Virtual Reality gives us the chance to escape our normal lives and be fully immersed in another reality. But we can also use this technology to change the world and save more problems. If you could make a virtual reality mobile app, what would you create?

Wearable Technology & Mobile Apps Fri, 14 Mar 2014 02:32:48 +0000 From CES to SXSW the new trend that every technology company and startup seem to be getting into is wearable technology.

With Google Glass and  Samsung smart watches leading the way in wearable technology, it is definitely something that will be continue to be a trend with most technology companies. This leads us to the question, what is the future for wearable technology and mobile apps?

Mobile apps are continuing to rise in the mobile phone and tablet device platforms, but will they continue with wearable technology? The answer is absolutely YES! Of course, mobile apps will continue with wearable technology. The ability to have a smart watch on your wrist allows for countless amounts of mobile apps to be placed on your smart watch. The Google Glass in front of you also has the ability to have more apps. The only difference is that different wearable technology for different parts of the body may bring different functions from different apps. Google Glass will probably bring many voice activated and vision related apps, while wearable leg wear may deal with running, walking, health, and more.

As the amount of wearable technology increases, the opportunity to create mobile apps for various parts of the body’s wearable technology also increases. This should lead to an increase in more and more tech entrepreneurs creating new more mobile apps for various uses. This wearable technology is just another trend for us to watch in 2014. Do you think wearable technology can change the world or be just another trend that passes us by?

An Innovative Tip For Your Mobile Marketing Fri, 28 Feb 2014 02:22:19 +0000 Most mobile marketers in 2014 are going to advise Location-based (Geo Targeting) Marketing when it comes to mobile strategies.

Today, we’re going to discuss something different. With most mobile marketers doing the same type of marketing to attract customers and convert sales, there has been a lack of innovation. We wanted to simply bring up an easy suggestion for mobile marketing that many marketers are failing to take advantage of.

Personal & Custom Messages

Simply put, be more personal! With the technology we have for the programming of our mobile platforms and software, it is easy to personalize and customize messages for our customers. The more you utilize your mobile strategy, the more you can learn about your customer to get them to coming back to your brand. An easy and simple strategy is just to be more personal! Since you know more about your customer due to your mobile strategy, you can easily send personal messages to fully grab their attention.  Make a message acknowledging how much they come to your business and that you are thankful for their business! Offer them a free smoothie on their 5th business to show that you care! Show that there is a person running the business and that you’re not just another company trying to get their dollar. Make them fall in love with your app by making them want to check their app when they walk into your store for special discounts and rewards.  Long story short, remember the days when local store clerks used to know all their customers by name. In 2014, it is easy to take advantage of technology for marketing and business development purposes, don’t forget about the everyday necessity of being personal with your customer. Say Hi, say their name, and offer them something personal!

1.Mobile is even international.

With so many mobile companies in silicon valley or located in the United States, sometime we forget that mobile is still huge internationally. Most of WhatsApp’s 450 million active users are international users that Facebook is trying to acquire. This acquisition reminds us and reaffirms that mobile is a huge international tool.

One of the other main reasons that Zuckerberg decided to acquire WhatsApp is due to Facebook’s mission to connect the world. Zuckerberg created an foundation whose main goal is to connect the world and give internet access to everyone. Zuckerberg feels that the internet should be an essential right for everyone around the world and aims to be the provider for this essential right. Although instead of desktop computers, they need to look to mobile to make this a reality.

3.Mobile is still King.

Simply put, Mobile is still King. Mobile is still King and has no intentions on giving up the thrown anytime soon. They say that their mobile bookings are growing five times faster than web bookings did ten years ago. Along with that comes an increase in general site traffic from mobile devices. Mobile is accounting from 42 percent of their site’s visits.

This is already proving how mobile is changing the game of business and sales. The growth, which we mentioned last year,  is expected to grow tremendously throughout 2017. It’s up to the companies to direct their attention to the mobile platforms and see if they can innovate to keep up with the consumers.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has made sure that they make mobile their priority by committing to the mobile shift.
